Job Title: Senior Specialist - Cloud Engineering

Job Description:
 

• Mandatory Certification Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Cloud Architect Job Responsibilities
• Design build and test cloud architecture to ensure large amounts of data can be transferred and stored efficiently
• Maintain information accuracy and security while initiating bulk data transfers
• Use prior knowledge and creativity to troubleshoot and solve technical issues as they arise
• Vet cloud providers and third party services that provide high quality storage options within budget
• Create data transfer and storage standard operating procedures and policy documentation while adhering to industry standards and best practices
• Keep up to date with developments on current cloud computing solutions and processes
• Provide guidance to cross functional teams on using and accessing data on the cloud especially during major transfer updates or changes
• Serve as the cloud architect subject matter expert for the marketing team and at company webinars trade shows and panels
• Cloud Architect Qualifications and Skills
• Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies applications and trends
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure software application and design
• Experience using Microsoft Azure Amazon Web Services AWS Google Cloud or other major cloud computing services
• Strong cloud migration and data management skills with an emphasis on data privacy and security
• Excellent problem solving capabilities and can thrive in a fast paced work environment
• Strong communication skills with the willingness to collaborate with cross functional departments and teams
• Education Experience and Licensing Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science information systems or a related field master’s degree preferred
• 10 years’ experience as a cloud architect or similar role
