Specialist - Quality Engineering

  Seeking an experienced Performance Engineer with 7 years of expertise in benchmarking and systems performance analysis to optimize server and platform performance in enterprise and datacenter environments

  Job Description 

  7 years of experience in performance engineering benchmarking or systems performance analysis Strong handson experience with serverplatform performance testing in enterprise or datacenter environments Deep knowledge of industrystandard benchmarks including SPEC Intel Memory Latency Checker MLC STREAM and similar CPU memory and storage tools Experience analyzing CPU memory NUMA cache storage and network bottlenecks Proficient in Windows and Linux performance tuning and diagnostics Strong scripting and automation skills in Python PowerShell Bash or similar scripting languages Experience designing repeatable benchmark methodologies and regression test suites Ability to interpret benchmark results and assist partner teams in identifying root causes and optimization recommendations Familiarity with modern server architectures from Intel and AMD platforms Experience with telemetry monitoring and largescale data analysis tools such as Kusto and Grafana Strong written communication skills with the ability to summarize findings for engineering and leadership teams Selfdriven and able to work independently with minimal oversight in a fastpaced environment

Roles and Responsibilities 

    Develop and execute performance benchmarks and tests for server and platform components Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks across CPU memory NUMA cache storage and network subsystems Design and maintain repeatable benchmark methodologies and regression test suites to ensure consistent performance evaluation Automate performance testing and data collection using scripting languages such as Python PowerShell and Bash Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to interpret benchmark results and provide actionable optimization recommendations Monitor telemetry and performance metrics using tools like Kusto and Grafana to support largescale data analysis Tune and diagnose performance issues on Windows and Linux platforms Document and communicate performance findings effectively to engineering teams and leadership Stay current with modern server architectures and industrystandard benchmarking tools Manage multiple tasks and deliverables independently in a dynamic fastpaced environment
