• Job description: As a Senior .NET developer, you will support and extend a major application in our trading infrastructure. This role requires frequent interaction with software developers, testers, product managers, helpdesk professionals, and external customers in order to ensure delivery of a high quality platform to users.
• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Enhance and support the company’s Middle/Back Office systems;
• Implement and support company’s Middle Office systems integration with industry front and back office systems;
• Design and implement new modules, functions;
• Continuous evaluation and improvement of applications performance;
• Work with developers and project manager in understanding and implementing new requirements;
• Follow company software development processes and standards;
• Study new technology and remain technically current
•  
• REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
• 5+ years of experience and strong knowledge in ASP.NET, C#.NET, ADO.NET, AJAX and LINQ;
• 3+ years experience with Windows and Unix;
• 3+ years as senior Java and .NET developer
• Highly proficient understanding of .Net 4.0 Framework, Service Oriented Architecture, MVC and .Net Applications
• Usage of MVC architecture, design patterns and XML, a must.
• Strong knowledge and experience in SQL Server 8 or greater.
• Experience in building client side scripting using Javascript is required
• Experience with jquery and json, a plus.
• Experience with building web services is required.
• Transactional systems deployed and used in production;
• Experience with Java frameworks like Spring, Java EE, or others.
• Experience developing code using IntelliJ, and Eclipse, Visual Studio Code IDE
• Experience with cloud platform, especially AWS
• Experience with Apache Camel, Cron Jobs, Puppet and Confluence.
• Familiarity with Scheduling Control – M jobs.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Development experience with Sybase or Oracle;
• Good working knowledge of messaging middleware;
• Good working knowledge of software testing and building high quality software;
• Strong knowledge of trading environments or two years exposure to financial sector;
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, and deliver production quality software within tight schedules;
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good working knowledge of software testing and building high quality software;
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proven track record of producing and reviewing use cases, providing estimates, and organizing tasks;
• Experience with software testing tools, regression testing, performance testing, a plus
