• P&C Insurance / brokerage experience
• Seasoned Business Analyst with at least 10+ years of experience Brokerage Insurance experince
• Experience working with business units or other IT teams to gather requirements and translate them to a development team
• Must have a good understanding of agile methodology and frameworks
• Should have exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to handle complex projects in a multi-tasking and multi-vendor environment and meet deadlines while delivering high quality results
• Must have effective communication, stakeholder management and inter-personal skills
• Must have focused approach to problem solving which must include flexibility while maintaining keeping focus on priorities defined by overall impact
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Serve as a liaison between Business, Technology and Functional area leadership to develop and maintain a very effective relationship to ensure focus on delivery aligned
• Effectively communicate relevant project information including status reports from projects work streams to senior management and project team. Also reconcile overall expectations from numerous internal and external stakeholders
• Act like a coach/mentor for the team
• Work with team lead, product owner and stakeholders to identify, understand, and capture requirements, consolidate input from business and technical stakeholders
• Record requirements in the backlog and clearly explain to development team; be the bridge between technology team and business
• Draft requirements documentation for both functional and non-functional requirements
• Work with product owner and team lead to prioritize the backlog and prepare for upcoming sprints
• Lead backlog refinement sessions to prepare team for upcoming features
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
