Technical Proficiency and Network Design

Deep understanding of network infrastructure including routers switches firewalls and load balancers

Ability to design robust and scalable network architectures

Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices

Knowledge of protocols such as TCP IP BGP and OSPF

Network Security Solutions

Familiarity with firewalls Palo Alto Cisco VPNs intrusion detection prevention systems and web application firewalls

Understanding of security protocols and threat mitigation strategies

Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex network issues

Technical Skills Secondary – Nice to have NOT MANDATORY

Experience with Software Defined Networking SDN solutions like Cisco ACI and VMware VNX

Knowledge of automation tools e g Ansible Azure DevOps for network and security configurations

Scripting skills and understanding of automation concepts

Certifications related to network security and engineering e g Palo Alto Networks certifications

Understanding of network segmentation isolation and encryption architectures

Experience in software and hardware troubleshooting
