Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer (GCP / Kubernetes)

We are looking for a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to design, build, and support cloud-native platforms running on Google Cloud Platform. This role is hands-on, production-facing, and focused on Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, and reliable operation of large-scale microservices environments.

You will work closely with engineering, security, and platform teams to ensure systems are scalable, secure, observable, and efficient.

Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Cloud Build, and Artifactory
• Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters (GKE), including deployments, scaling, networking, and upgrades
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Support and troubleshoot complex microservices-based applications in production
• Work with cloud networking concepts such as firewall rules, load balancers, DNS configuration, and TLS certificates
• Manage secrets, IAM policies, and access controls securely
• Maintain and support Cloud PostgreSQL databases, including performance and reliability aspects
• Implement observability solutions using Prometheus and Grafana
• Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Collaborate with development teams to improve reliability, automation, and delivery speed

Required Skills
• Strong experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Platform Engineer
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially GKE
• Solid Kubernetes knowledge in production environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Terraform and infrastructure-as-code expertise
• Scripting and programming experience with Shell, Python, Go, Node.js, and/or Java (Spring)
• Experience with Helm and Ansible
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (load balancers, firewalls, DNS, certificates)
• Experience with secrets management and IAM
• Experience supporting microservices architectures

Nice to Have
• Experience with HAProxy and load balancer ACLs
• Experience with CD tools such as Spinnaker
• Advanced monitoring and alerting setup with Prometheus and Grafana
• Previous experience in incident response and on-call environments
