Principal Personalization Business Performance Analyst

 

About the Role

  • Were looking for an experienced Principal Business Performance Analyst with a focus on Personalization
  • Analytics and Digital Marketing Analytics to join our Marketing Technology team As a key member of the team youll dig through usercentric personalization experiences to evaluate their impact on key performance metrics extract actionable intelligence from a content search index and behavioral event data layer to inform platform improvements and deliver insights from affiliate partnerships that drive incremental conversion growth
  • Youll operate in a fastpaced environment spanning iOS Android Mobile Web Desktop and OTT surfaces and will have access to Claude AI as a daily productivity partner to accelerate analysis documentation and insight generation

 

What Youll Do

  • DataDriven Strategy Use advanced analytics SQL Python R to provide actionable insights that help shape personalization affiliate marketing strategy and business decisions
  • Design Analyze Tests Lead AB and multivariate testing to optimize affiliate offers landing pages and user experience to boost engagement and conversions
  • Customer Segmentation Attribution Develop segmentation models to target the most valuable customers and implement digital attribution strategies to evaluate campaign effectiveness across affiliate partners
  • Reporting Dashboards Build and manage data visualizations and performance dashboards
  • Tableau Data Studio to track affiliate KPIs ensuring teams have clear insights on performance and opportunities for optimization
  • Collaboration Across Teams Advise Marketing Product and Tech teams on opportunities to enhance affiliate partnerships optimize user journeys and improve overall funnel performance
  • Optimize Affiliate Campaigns Analyze affiliate performance data identify areas of improvement and make recommendations to increase conversion rates and maximize ROI across various affiliate channels
  • Affiliate Relationships Work closely with affiliate partners to analyze data and performance trends ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
  • Personalization Feed Analytics
  • Evaluate algorithmic content feed performance dwell affinity content freshness team affinity user history saturation and behavioral signals
  • Partner with Product Engineering to assess how feed algorithm changes affect KPIs pagessession video starts return rate subscription conversion
  • Lead AB and multivariate tests to optimize feed ranking and content mix across platforms iOS Android MWeb Desktop OTT
  • Predictive Metrics Incremental Measurement
  • Move the team beyond lagging indicators Uniques Visits Time Spent Video Views LTV toward a predictive measurement framework
  • Develop RPM modeling userlevel economic value signals and incremental lift frameworks to isolate the true impact of personalization and marketing
  • Surface engagement quality metrics dwell affinity content saturation and session depth
  • Search Index Event Data Analytics
  • Work directly with a content search index OpenSearchElasticsearchstyle holding article video and social feed metadata backed by a graph content model
  • Integrate behavioral event log data from an internal collection system with Adobe Analytics and Kochava instrumentation into BigQuery
  • Define extraction patterns from search index APIs into analytical tables collaborate with Engineering and BI to architect the data pipeline
  • Data Warehousing Infrastructure
  • Architect dimensional models Kimball methodology for business KPIs optimizing for insight fidelity cost and query speed
  • Own documentation of data models schemas and analytical logic across Confluence JIRA and GitHub
  • Affiliate Marketing Analytics
  • Provide actionable insights from affiliate partnership data to drive incremental conversion growth
  • Develop segmentation models digital attribution strategies and KPI dashboards Tableau Google Data Studio

 

What You Bring

 

Required

  • Bachelors or Masters in Statistics Data Science Economics or related quantitative field
  • 6 years in data analytics preferably within digital media streaming or consumer platforms
  • Advanced SQL handson with cloud data warehouses Google BigQuery AWS Athena AWS Glue
  • Deep expertise across web app analytics platforms Adobe Analytics Kochava or similar across
  • App MWeb Desktop and OTT surfaces
  • Experience with search index or document store data OpenSearch Elasticsearch or similar APIs
  • Demonstrated data warehouse design experience Kimball dimensional modeling strongly preferred
  • Experience designing and analyzing AB and multivariate tests in a live product environment
  • Strong data visualization skills Tableau Google Data Studio
  • Excellent documentation consuming complex technical specs and producing cros
