Job Title: Power BI Architect

Location: Remote

Job Description:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualizations and insights using Power BI.

Create and optimize complex data models using DAX to support the specific reporting and analytics needs of the business.

Utilize Power Query to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI.

Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports.

Continuously monitor report performance and optimize DAX and other elements for faster rendering and data refresh cycles.

Work closely with the IT and cloud teams to integrate Power BI with other platforms such as Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and more when needed.

Use Power BI REST APIs for embedding, automating, and managing reports and dashboards in third-party applications or portals.

Present insights and dashboards to senior management and other stakeholders. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure the effective use of Power BI reports and dashboards.

Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Power BI, and implement relevant ones to enhance reporting capabilities.

Mandate to have experience with BI tools and systems such as Power BI.

Must have 6 to 8 years of experience in data-specific roles.

Knowledge of the Microsoft BI Stack

Data Modeling (Star/Snowflake)

Can create data experiences, gain insights from your largest BI deployments, and help in decision making.

Candidate must have experience on handling large datasets and implement best practices as per reporting standard.

Candidate should have experience on implement row/column level data security, DAX, Data Modelling and Report performance tuning in Power BI

Proven experience in building, deploying, and maintaining complex reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Strong expertise in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and Power Query for data modeling and transformation.

Proficiency in using Power BI REST APIs for extended functionality and integration.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with stakeholders and present insights.

Expertise in Paginated Report Design, Development & maintenance.

Should have experience to implement Paginated report from Scratch and manage E2E activities.

Experience in Importing, Exporting and publishing RDL file in service

Expertise in Power BI Service: Premium Capacity, tenant and other admin portal configurations.

Expertise in Row Level security and O365 groups.

Troubleshooting Data connection, Gateway and schedule issues.

Experience in Importing, Exporting, and publishing PBIX file in service.

Experience in using Power BI desktop.

Experience in SQL and other Database querying and concepts.
