Job Details:

  • Looking for experienced ASP.Net MVC developer with 7+ years of experience.
  • Should have strong work experience on below
  • NET framework (4.5 and higher), DNN framework (9.0 and higher).
  • C#, design patterns, object-oriented programming, SOLID design principles etc.
  • ASP.NET, MVC, Mercer OS, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, Bootstrap JS, JSON, XML, ADO.Net, LINQ queries, Entity Frameworks, AJAX etc.
  • Service Oriented Architecture and web services development using SOAP and Restful Web Services (WCF, Web API)
  • SQL Server 2008 and above, Transact SQL, stored procedures, triggers, Functions, SSIS packages, SQL Server Agent jobs
  • Development Tools: TFS, Github, Azure DevOps, CICD, Beyond Compare, Resharper.
  • Ticketing tools : JIRA, Mercer Service Now
  • IIS (8.5 and Above) on Windows Server (2010 and above)
  • Development approaches such as Waterfall, Prototype, Iterative and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  • Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019.
  • Should be able to independently work in project. confident in working with client with strong verbal and written skills.
  • Should be enthusiastic in learning and expert in analysing the system or complex requirements and provide suggestions
  • Should have work experience performing below activities
  • Requirement analyses of assigned JIRA/Service Now tickets. Tickets could be a new requirement, customization, or an enhancement.
  • Leading the assigned tasks or tickets
  • Providing timeline and estimates.
  • Twice-weekly scrum meeting where you need to provide status of your assigned tickets and discuss any technical challenges or roadblocks.
  • Coding as per the development standards and mercer guidelines.
  • TFS and Github: Maintain the code repos - Pull / Push code updates, resolving any build errors or code conflicts etc.
  • Code review when needed.
  • Backend Coding - Writing or updating Sql queries or procedures, Updating SSIS packages, Sql Jobs etc.
  • Unit Testing, UAT testing, integration testing as per the requirements.
  • Creating publish builds and deployments to different environment such as UAT, QA, Prod etc.
  • Reaching out to the client for any clarifications, addition requirements, design or technical discussions, providing progress updates etc.
  • Knowledge transfer within the team or with client as per the requirements.
  • Updating technical documents if required.
  • Maintain continues communication across various teams such as development, IT and business team to maintain the integrity and smooth health of the applications.
