AEM Developer

Job Description:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming

• 10+ years of experience in Web development

• 5+ years of experience in AEM CMS platform - AEM 6.X on-prem or AEM Cloud Service

• Strong programming skills in Java, JEE, OSGi, Sling, and other related technologies

• Knowledge of Unit Testing frameworks like TDD (jUnit, Mockito), BDD

• Experience with front-end development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Angular

• Knowledge of web development technologies and methodologies, including Agile/Scrum

• Knowledge of build technologies like NPM, Maven and jFrog

• Strong experience with SDLC tools like Bitbucket or GitHub (or any Git SCM), Jenkins (or any build tools)

• Experience of Container technologies like Docker

• Experience with web services and RESTful APIs

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Have passion for web development and a desire to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and deploy AEM components and templates to support web applications

• Work closely with designers, content authors, and other developers to ensure that the digital solutions meet business requirements and user needs

• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using Java, OSGi, Sling, OAK, and other related technologies

• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to AEM development, implementation and document root cause analysis.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop solutions for business challenges

• Provide technical expertise in AEM development to the team and stakeholders

• Configuring and customizing AEM authoring and publishing environments

• Experience working with workflows, assets, replication, forms, translation frameworks and third-party integrations

• Implementing and managing AEM security features, such as user authentication and access controls

• Collaborating with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure that AEM solutions meet business and technical requirements

• Providing technical guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders

• Staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in AEM development
