SAP FICO AMS Support Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for a SAP FICO AMS Support Consultant with experience in S/4HANA Finance and fluency in Spanish to provide global support for SAP ERP applications and related systems, focusing on Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.

 

Areas of Expertise

  • FI: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), Banking.
  • CO: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders.
  • Treasury Management: Bank account management, payment medium creation, electronic bank statement processing.
  • Asset Management: Fixed assets accounting, depreciation calculation, asset retirement.
  • Reporting: Subledger and General Ledger reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate Engineer from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 8 years of functional experience in Finance.
  • Hands-on SAP FICO configuration experience, including:
    • Controlling: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis.
    • Project System: Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month-End Close, Overhead assessment and settlement.
  • Experience in at least one full SAP implementation lifecycle (preferred).
  • Minimum 6 years supporting SAP ERP in large-scale engagements.
  • Strong understanding of integration points between SAP modules.
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing application support for SAP solutions globally.
  • Manage defect resolution, incident handling, and release management in multi-vendor, multi-geography environments.
  • Coordinate with offshore teams and business users for ticket resolution.
  • Participate in implementation projects for new opportunities.
  • Handle incidents, service requests, problems, and changes according to SLAs.
  • Perform root cause analysis and proactive monitoring of interfaces and batch jobs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
  • Document tickets and changes thoroughly.
  • Act as liaison with technical teams and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Mentor junior team members for support activities.
