Oracle E‑Business Suite Application DBA Lead
 

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) Application DBA Lead to oversee, manage, and optimize critical enterprise database and application environments. This is a hands‑on, onsite leadership role that requires deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting ability, and effective coordination with cross‑functional teams.


Key Responsibilities

Oracle E‑Business Suite Administration

  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle EBS applications.
  • Apply patches and manage application upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot issues across EBS modules and application tiers.

Database Management

  • Administer Oracle databases with strong knowledge of Core DBA concepts.
  • Manage Oracle RAC and ASM environments.
  • Perform backup and recovery operations.
  • Execute performance tuning and capacity planning activities.

Infrastructure & Platform Management

  • Manage Oracle Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
  • Conduct Linux OS administration for underlying systems and application support.

Third‑Party Integrations

  • Support and maintain integrations with external and third‑party applications.
  • Troubleshoot interface and connectivity issues across platforms.

Leadership & Onsite Coordination

  • Serve as the technical lead for the DBA team.
  • Provide mentoring, guidance, and enforce best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and onsite client representatives.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Implement security standards, compliance controls, and audit readiness.
  • Drive continuous improvement of infrastructure, processes, and performance.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands‑on experience in Oracle E‑Business Suite administration.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, and Core DBA concepts.
  • Proficiency with Oracle ExaCS, OCI, and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience supporting integrations with third‑party applications.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex application and database issues.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills for onsite client engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle certifications such as OCP, OCI Architect, or equivalent.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting for DBA operations.
  • Prior experience in leading DBA teams or managing large‑scale Oracle environments.
