We are seeking an innovative and proactive AI-First Full Stack Java Engineer with strong backend development expertise and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong Full Stack Java development experience with a primary focus on backend engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience designing and developing distributed systems and microservices.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, testing frameworks, and modern engineering practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software solutions with a strong focus on quality, performance, and user experience.
- Build and enhance backend services supporting transaction processing systems.
- Develop reusable and maintainable software components following engineering best practices.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Collaborate closely with team members through pair programming, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and deliver business value.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the software development lifecycle.
Technical Excellence
- Contribute to or lead efforts related to:
- Product configuration
- Performance tuning and optimization
- Automated testing
- Production monitoring and observability
- Write and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and design specifications.
Production Support
- Participate in incident response and troubleshooting activities.
- Help diagnose and resolve production issues while ensuring system stability and reliability.
Mentorship & Leadership
- Mentor and support junior engineers by sharing technical knowledge and industry best practices.
- Promote engineering excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and the open-source community.
- Share technical expertise and contribute to broader engineering initiatives across the organization.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and AI-first engineering practices.
- Cloud-native application development on GCP.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to high-volume transaction processing platforms.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
