Principal Personalization & Business Performance 
Analyst 
About the Role 
We’re looking for an experienced Principal Business Performance Analyst with a focus on 
Personalization Analytics and Affiliate Marketing Analytics to join our Marketing 
Technology team. As a key member of the team: 
● You’ll dig through user-centric experiences to evaluate the relationship between 
personalization-led product changes and key performance metrics; example: increasing 
minutes per user 
● You’ll provide actional insights from affiliate partnerships performance data that lead to 
incremental growth in conversions along the consumer journey to scale re-occurring 
revenue 
You’ll harness data science expertise to unlock personalization trends, elevate user journeys,

What You’ll Do 
● Data-Driven Strategy: Use advanced analytics (SQL, Python, R) to provide actionable 
insights that help shape personalization, affiliate marketing strategy and business 
decisions. 
● Design & Analyze Tests: Lead A/B and multivariate testing to optimize affiliate offers, 
landing pages, and user experience to boost engagement and conversions. 
● Customer Segmentation & Attribution: Develop segmentation models to target the 
most valuable customers and implement digital attribution strategies to evaluate 
campaign effectiveness across affiliate partners.

● Reporting & Dashboards: Build and manage data visualizations and performance 
dashboards (Tableau, Data Studio) to track affiliate KPIs, ensuring teams have clear 
insights on performance and opportunities for optimization. 
● Collaboration Across Teams: Advise Marketing, Product, and Tech teams on 
opportunities to enhance affiliate partnerships, optimize user journeys, and improve 
overall funnel performance. 
● Optimize Affiliate Campaigns: Analyze affiliate performance data, identify areas of 
improvement, and make recommendations to increase conversion rates and maximize 
ROI across various affiliate channels. 
● Affiliate Relationships: Work closely with affiliate partners to analyze data and 
performance trends, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. 
What You Bring 
Required: 
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, 
Economics). 
● 6+ years of experience in data analytics 
● Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data analysis tools such as Google 
BigQuery, AWS Athena, AWS Glue, as well as expertise in modeling data to achieve 
highest insight for lowest cost and greatest speed 
● Experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and optimizing personalization 
algorithms 
● Proficiency with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics). 
● Strong data visualization skills using tools like Tableau, Google Data Studio, or 
Amazon QuickSight similar platforms. 
● Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to distill complex data into clear, 
actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
● Proven ability to analyze affiliate campaign performance and optimize for maximum 
revenue and efficiency. 
Preferred: 
● Familiarity with APIs, querying large data sets and database design 
● Experience in affiliate network management or working with affiliate marketing 
platforms (e.g., Rakuten or Income Access). 
● Background in subscription-based services or e-commerce models. 
● Experience with project management tools like JIRA or Confluence.
