Senior Specialist - Data Engineering

Technical Skills

Primary (Must Have)

Azure Data Platform

• Advanced expertise in Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Strong hands‑on experience with data integration and ETL tools:
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate
• Proven experience designing, building, and optimizing robust ETL pipelines from diverse data sources.

Databases & Analytics

• Strong mastery of relational (SQL Server, Azure SQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Deep experience with Snowflake on Azure environments.
• Data wrangling and preparation for analytics using Power BI.
• Experience integrating data from Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, metadata management, and data quality analysis.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

• Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform scripting.
• Expertise in designing modular, reusable Terraform components and securely managing state files.
• Proven experience building and managing IaC frameworks using Terraform.
• Experience automating deployments of Azure data platforms (ADF, Synapse, Azure SQL, Data Lake) using IaC.

Cloud & DevOps

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as AKS and Docker (preferred).

Secondary / Nice to Have

• Experience with on‑premises to cloud migration strategies.
• Knowledge of data security, compliance, and governance in Azure environments.
• Exposure to additional cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP for hybrid data solutions.

Soft Skills

• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional and executive stakeholders.
