Test Automation
- Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute comprehensive functional testing for web, mobile applications.
Define, implement, and continuously improve test strategies, plans, and coverage for new features and releases.
Design, review, and optimize detailed test cases, scenarios, and test data for maximum coverage and efficiency.
Own the defect lifecycle—log, triage, track, and verify defects; ensure high-quality, reproducible tickets and root cause analysis.
Oversee regression, sanity, exploratory, and end-to-end testing cycles; ensure timely completion and high quality for every release.
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure alignment.
Maintain and present quality metrics, dashboards, and status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
Contribute to or maintain automation scripts for web/mobile using Selenium/Appium if experienced.
Drive process improvements, adopt best practices, and champion quality across the team and organization. - Participate in release readiness activities, risk assessments, and post-release retrospectives.
Knowledge of UI Automation on Java, Selenium, TestNG
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in functional testing, with a strong focus on web applications.
Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., TestRail, JIRA).
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to deep-dive into issues and drive them to resolution.
Excellent communication skills
Experience leading QA efforts for complex projects or releases.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Good to have automation tools knowledge: Selenium/WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Appium (Android/iOS).
Experience in OTT/Streaming domain or media/ad tech is a bonus.
