Business Solution Analyst – Oracle ERP Supply Chain
 

Role Overview

As a Business Solution Analyst and Business Process Owner (BPO), you act as the guardian of business processes within your functional scope. You lead the definition, standardization, and continuous improvement of business processes and ensure they are translated into clear, actionable functional specifications for IT teams and system integrators implementing Oracle ERP solutions.

You also spearhead Change Management and Key User (KU) enablement, ensuring strong adoption of new tools, processes, and workflows across the organization.


Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in:
    • Business Analysis
    • Process Optimization
    • ERP implementation programs
  • Proven experience in Process Ownership, Business Governance, or BPO roles
  • Demonstrated involvement in large-scale, international ERP deployments
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP Supply Chain solutions

ERP Functional Knowledge

  • Strong functional understanding of ERP modules:
    • Supply Chain Management (SCM)

  • Definition and execution of UAT strategies
  • End-to-End (E2E) testing scenarios
  • Defect management using tools such as Jira, ALM, or similar platforms

  • Instructional design and training enablement experience

Soft Skills

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to bridge Business and IT languages
  • Natural leadership skills to:
    • Facilitate workshops

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Governance & Ownership (BPO)

  • Act as the primary owner of functional processes, including:
    • Business rules
    • Standards
    • RACI matrices
    • Control points
  • Ensure end-to-end (E2E) consistency, regulatory compliance, and KPI tracking
  • Lead and coordinate the functional community:
    • Process Owners
    • Key Users
    • SMEs
  • Drive prioritization, arbitrations, and strategic decisions

2. Requirements Analysis & Functional Specifications

  • Lead business workshops to:
    • Map As-Is / To-Be processes
    • Identify pain points
    • Drive simplification and standardization
  • Document:
    • Business Requirements (BRD)
    • User Stories
    • Business rules
    • Master data requirements
    • Use cases
  • Produce key deliverables:
    • Functional Design Documents (FDD)
    • Acceptance criteria
    • Impact analysis
    • Integration, reporting, and interface requirements
  • Act as the main bridge between Business and IT, supporting Fit/Gap analysis and decision-making

3. Testing, Validation & Deployment

  • Define business testing strategy:
    • Test cases
    • E2E scenarios
    • UAT data sets
  • Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Manage defect prioritization and resolution tracking
  • Support Go-Live readiness, cutover activities, and Hypercare

4. Key User (KU) Training & Documentation

  • Design and execute the training strategy:
    • Training plans and curricula
    • Train-the-Trainer sessions
  • Produce operational documentation:
    • User guides
    • Training materials
    • SOPs
    • FAQs
  • Ensure alignment between business processes, training content, and ERP solution

5. Change Management

  • Conduct organizational impact assessments
  • Define and roll out the Change Management plan:
    • Communication strategy
    • Adoption tracking
    • Engagement materials
    • Ambassador networks
  • Monitor adoption KPIs, manage resistance, and ensure long-term ownership
