Job Title: Sr. Tools Enablement Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Tools Enablement Engineer to design, build, and scale internal platforms and systems that empower engineering teams to efficiently develop, test, and release high-quality software. This role requires strong expertise across backend services, frontend tooling, test automation, and CI/CD workflows, along with a passion for improving developer experience and software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable internal platforms and testing frameworks
• Build backend services using Java and Spring Boot to support automation and engineering workflows
• Develop frontend tools using TypeScript and modern frameworks to enhance usability and productivity
• Create and maintain end-to-end and API test automation solutions
• Integrate automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines
• Improve test reliability, execution performance, and coverage
• Enable self-service testing capabilities for development teams
• Contribute to AI-driven quality solutions, including automated test generation and insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote quality engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in:
  • Java and Spring Boot
  • TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools:
  • TestNG, Selenium, Playwright, Appium
• Solid understanding of:
  • API testing and backend validation
  • End-to-end testing strategies
  • Object-oriented design principles
• Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building developer tooling or internal platforms
• Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-based solutions
• Experience with:
  • Docker, Kubernetes
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or OCI)
  • Event-driven architectures (Kafka or similar)
  • Observability tools (Datadog or similar)
• Experience in OTT or streaming platforms is a plus
