Technical Skills Primary

• Power BI Development Proficiency in developing Power BI solutions including data modelling creating relationships between data sources and designing visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports
• Data Analysis and Visualization Strong analytical skills to understand complex business requirements and translate them into meaningful insights through data visualization Ability to identify trends patterns and outliers in data and present them in a clear and concise manner
• Data Integration Experience in integrating data from various sources such as databases spreadsheets and APIs into Power BI Knowledge of ETL Extract Transform Load processes and tools to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• SQL and Database Knowledge Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation Understanding of database concepts and experience in working with relational databases such as SQL Server Oracle or MySQL
• Data Modelling Ability to design and implement efficient data models in Power BI including creating calculated columns measures and hierarchies Knowledge of best practices for data modelling to optimize performance and usability
• Power Query and DAX Familiarity with Power Query for data transformation and cleansing Proficiency in DAX Data Analysis Expressions for creating complex calculations and measures in Power BI
• Data Governance and Security Understanding of data governance principles and experience in implementing security measures to protect sensitive data in Power BI Knowledge of rolebased access control and rowlevel security in Power BI
• Collaboration and Communication Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with business stakeholders gather requirements and present insights and recommendations Ability to work in a team and coordinate with other IT teams for data integration and infrastructure requirements
• Problemsolving and Troubleshooting Strong problemsolving skills to identify and resolve technical issues related to Power BI development data integration and performance optimization Ability to debug and troubleshoot datarelated problems
• Continuous Learning Willingness to stay updated with the latest Power BI features updates and best practices Ability to adapt to new technologies and tools in the Power BI ecosystem
   

Technical Skills Secondary Nice to have

• Familiar with Agile software development methodologies
• Insurance domain experience
• Experience in working with other Microsoft BI tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services SSRS and SQL Server Analysis Services SSAS is a plus
