Primary Skills:

Understanding of Finance and accounting from an insurance/insurance brokers perspective

Understanding of Broker's Billing, commission/revenue process including Receivables and reconciliation / variance analysis

Understanding of Broker's revenue recognition under ASC 605/606 process

Business analysis and Data analysis skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Specific to the A/R Reconciliation Project / Revenue Recognition, BA will:

• Track and report the matching of cash received to AR balances for approximately 283 agency reports currently in scope as of 12/31/2020

• Support additional variance analysis to reconcile 12/31/20 Revenue Recognition under ASC 605/606 purposes and assist with troubleshooting as necessary

• Assist with 2021production report data by:

• Pulling the data from EPIC and AMS360 for parameters as defined by Accounting department

• Reconciling that data to the GL

• Then compare it to the 2020 cash and A/R reconciliation summary workbook

• Track and confirm acceptable variance thresholds of less than 2% has been achieved - as defined by Accounting for data validity and completeness

• Review the re-run of the 1/1-9/30/21 data once the code fixes are completed

• Preparation of ASC 605 and 606 dashboard and comparison to dashboard used in the original recording of the ASC 606 calculation, quarterly
