Specialist - Package Implementation

The SAP DSD Consultant is responsible for managing and optimising Direct Store Delivery processes using SAP's DSD module. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, configuring SAP DSD, and ensuring that DSD operations are efficient, accurate, and compliant with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements for DSD processes and functionality.

2. Configure and customize the SAP DSD module to meet business needs, including route planning, order management, and inventory management.

3. Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve DSD-related issues.

4. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP DSD with other SAP modules, such as SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and SAP MM (Materials Management).

5. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in the DSD system by conducting regular audits and data validation.

6. Train end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure efficient and effective use of SAP DSD.

7. Collaborate with the development team to design and implement enhancements or customizations as needed.

8. Stay up-to-date with documentation, SAP DSD best practices, updates, and industry trends.

9. Develop and maintain documentation for DSD processes and configurations.

10. Participate in testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing for SAP DSD-related projects.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in SAP DSD configuration and support.

3. Strong knowledge of SAP DSD processes, including route optimization, order creation, and delivery execution.

4. Familiarity with SAP SD and other relevant SAP modules.

5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

6. Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

7. Experience in providing end-user training and support.

8. SAP certification in relevant modules is a plus.
