Specialist - Consulting

Job Description:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience with at least 7 to 10 years of experience on technology implementations of product(s) across various Lines of Business (P&C preferred).
• 4+ years of implementation experience of Majesco Property Casualty Insurance product(s) Policy Admin is MUST.
• Experience working on enterprise cloud implementations leveraging agile and understanding of agile tools and concepts.
• Good knowledge of the PC insurance industry with primary focus on policy and/or underwriting. Understanding of software concepts (e.g., HTML, XML, Relational DB, reporting tools).
• Lead review sessions for completed business/technical requirements with key business users focused on gaining consensus and final business approval.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to determine the best solution for a complex problem.
• Strong leadership skills, Demonstrate Problem Solving & Decision Making skills.
• Perform Proof of Concepts and lead design activities.
• Provide support for architectural strategy and subject matter expertise.
• Must have hands on experience in architecture frameworks and software design patterns.
• Working knowledge of systems architectural concepts and frameworks like TOGAF preferred.
• Programming experience on Java or any other Object Oriented language is good to have
• Experience in working on any relational database like SQL Server or Oracle Ability to perform design, effort estimations, and agile based execution
• Ability to perform overall solution architecture and take lead in capturing and understanding business requirements, translating them into technical design, and implementing best fit solution for customer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal and consultative skills to work effectively with vendors, clients, peers, and IT management.
• Must be able to clearly communicate complex technical and business concepts both to business partners and team members. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
