AWS DBT Data Engineer

Work Location

Hartford, CT

Primary - AWS DBT, Glue, Spark, Lamda, S3, EC2

Secondary - PySpark, Snowflake

Technical Skills: (Primary)

•Data Migration Engineer having an experience migrating data from on prem to AWS cloud

•Must have 6 + years of experience on using AWS Native Data Services Must have expertise in the following:- AWS Native tools : Lambda, Glue, Spark,Aurora and Snowflake

•The Candidate must have 6-10 yrs of experience in AWS

•Hands on experience on AWS Cloud platform especially S3, lamda, Step Functions, EC2, EMR

•Knowledge of Amazon AWS architecture and design

• Must have working knowledge on migrating relational and dimensional databases on AWS Cloud platform

• Must have at least 3+ years coding experience with Python language.

• Must have at least 3+ years of AWS Native services (S3, Glue, Dynamo DB, Snowflake, Aurora DB).

• Must have at least 2+ years experience implementing cloud warehouse data pipelines with DBT ELT tool.

•Experience on Shell scripting

•Exceptionally strong analytical and problem solving skills

Technical Skills :

• Snowflake working experience

• Databricks knowledge

• Good to have Terraform knowledge

Soft Skills

• As this is an onsite role, must have strong written and oral communication skills.

• Insurance Domain Knowledge

• Strong ability to work with client stakeholders.
