What You Will Do

Build AI Features Develop and contribute to the design of Generative AI and RetrievalAugmented Generation RAG systems that power intelligent recommendations and dynamic user personalization

Develop Production Features Take features from prototype to production for mobile and web applications owning your work end to end

Follow Strengthen Standards Apply established platform standards engineering patterns and reusable components and contribute improvements as you spot them

Collaborate Prototype Partner with engineers designers and product partners in a small team to rapidly design develop and prototype solutions to key business challenges

Leverage AI Tooling Use AI development tools to accelerate your own workflow and share effective practices with the team

Operational Excellence Build solutions with scalability and reliability in mind including appropriate testing monitoring and alerting

Document Share Knowledge Write clear documentation and diagrams to make onboarding easier for teammates and support partners Review code for style testability and efficiency

Monorepo Workflows Work within monorepo tooling eg Turborepo Nx to support build test and deploy across web and mobile applications

Type Safety Follow and help refine TypeScript and typing standards eg strict mode shared types codegen so codebases stay maintainable and refactorsafe

Required Qualifications

AI Awareness Familiarity with Generative AI and RAG architectures or genuine interest in ramping up quickly

Platform Mindset Experience contributing to scalable platform products and working within crossteam engineering standards

Stakeholder Collaboration Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional stakeholders in a dynamic fastpaced environment

Browser Performance Solid understanding of browser behavior rendering and frontend performance eg Core Web Vitals lazy loading code splitting

Monorepo Experience Working knowledge of monorepo tooling and workflows eg Turborepo Nx including shared packages task pipelines and crossproject dependencies

Education Experience BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

5 years of experience building scalable productiongrade web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks React Nextjs and Nodejs

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript including asynchronous programming generics strict typing and advanced ES6 features

Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS including responsive layout crossbrowser compatibility accessibility and performance optimization

Experience consuming and designing APIs REST and GraphQL including Apollo Client and microservicesbased architectures

Experience modeling data flows for transactional and integration workflows

Experience working with cloud platforms AWS GCP or OCI and containerized environments Docker Kubernetes

Familiarity with distributed systems concepts including caching Redis Memcached and messaging systems Kafka RabbitMQ

Experience building scalable highperformance applications

Strong debugging and performance troubleshooting skills including use of monitoringobservability tools eg OpenTelemetry New Relic

Soft Skills Able to analyze debug and troubleshoot complex code problems Passion for sports and a dedication to creating exceptional fan experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to popular proprietary or opensource CMS systems such as WordPress Drupal Joomla or Magento

Vector Databases Experience with one or more vector databases eg TurboPuffer Mongo Atlas is a plus

Cloud Focus 2 years experience working with cloud technologies AWS strongly preferred

Frontend Skills ReactNextjs experience with strong HTMLCSS fundamentals layout specificity crossbrowser compatibility

Collaboration Crossteam collaboration on requirements implementation and testing

Certifications Cloud certifications GCP AWS OCI

AI Tooling Experience with AI development tools Cursor Copilot etc and an interest in helping the team apply guardrails rules commands skills subagents to keep AIgenerated code clean and productionready

Theming Styling Experience with multiple styling approaches StyleX CSS Modules SASS CSSinJS and design tokens in component libraries or design systems
