Engineer - Cloud Services and Software
As a fresher stepping into a Site Reliability Engineering SRE role its essential to have clear and concise responsibilities that strike a balance between learning opportunities and handson experience We are seeking a motivated individual eager to learn and grow as a Cloud Network Administrator to join our dynamic team In this role you will play a crucial part in designing implementing and managing our complex cloud network infrastructure ensuring seamless connectivity strong security and optimal performance
Your responsibilities will include configuring highperformance Azure networking solutions troubleshooting intricate network issues and utilizing automation and best practices throughout
IT experience in Administrator Role with at least 01 year or zelle to learn Windows and Azure Application Engineering and Resource Management
This position requires alignment with the customers timezone which means candidate must be willing to work night shifts
Key Responsibilities
System Monitoring and Incident Response
Assist in monitoring system health and performance using various monitoring tools
Participate in incident management processes helping to identify and resolve issues quickly
Learn and understand the incident escalation process to ensure timely and effective responses
Infrastructure as Code IaC
Support the maintenance and improvement of infrastructure as code IaC using tools like Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation
Work with senior team members to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments
Assist in managing cloud environments eg AWS GCP Azure
Automation and Scripting
Develop scripts to automate routine tasks improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention
Collaborate on the creation of automation tools for monitoring deployment and incident response
Learn and apply best practices in automation and scripting under the guidance of senior engineers
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing
Create and update documentation for systems processes and procedures
Document incident postmortems and contribute to team knowledge repositories
Engage in knowledgesharing sessions and team meetings
Continuous Learning and Improvement
Stay updated with the latest industry trends tools and technologies relevant to SRE
Participate in training sessions workshops and mentorship programs to build foundational SRE skills
Assist in identifying areas of improvement within existing systems and processes
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with software developers QA and other engineering teams to understand application requirements and operational needs
Communicate effectively with team members to understand tasks ask questions and provide updates
Contribute to team discussions with ideas feedback and insights
Qualifications
Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
Skills
Basic understanding of LinuxUnix operating systems
Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS GCP Azure is a plus
Exposure to programming or scripting languages Python Bash etc
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
