Role: Backend Developer

Location: Bellevue, WA

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend components of our distributed engineering systems.
• Implement robust database components to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning concepts and implementations into our systems.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and scalability of backend systems.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to distributed systems, databases, and machine learning.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience 5-10 years in backend development with a focus on distributed systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL, kusto etc.) and experience with database design and optimization.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about complex technical challenges.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP is a plus.
