Job Description:

Senior BI Solution Architect

 

Data Architecture Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to design and develop a scalable and robust data architecture that meets the organization's analytical needs.

Data Modeling: Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support the integration, transformation, and delivery of data across different systems and platforms.

Data Integration: Identify and implement data integration strategies to bring together data from diverse sources, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and integrity.

ETL/ELT Development: Design and develop efficient Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) or Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes to transform raw data into meaningful insights. Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.

Data Visualization: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics requirements. Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView to provide actionable insights.

Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance principles, policies, and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance. Define and implement data access controls, data lineage, and data privacy measures.

Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data processes and performance to ensure efficient data delivery and improved user experience. Identify and resolve bottlenecks or data quality issues.

Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of data engineers and analysts. Collaborate with stakeholders to define the team's roadmap, prioritize projects, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a BI Architect or similar role, with a strong background in data analysis, data modeling, data integration, and data visualization.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, vault modeling, star schemas, and data normalization.

- Proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration tools.

- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions.

- Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salary target for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and job level and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.  Depending on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of overall compensation like an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive pay and other forms of bonus or variable compensation.

Max Salary:  USD $160,000 Per year
