Lead Program Manager Job Description

1 End to End Delivery Ownership

Own end to end delivery execution for all Cloud Transformation projects across Business Unit ensuring on time and high quality outcomes

Ensure consistent application of Program delivery standards governance model and operating cadence across all accounts

Drive disciplined delivery practices including call ownership MoMs action tracking RAID management and adherence to agreed project plans

Review delivery health using RAG status and Project Starters proactively unblock at risk engagements and intervene early to prevent escalations

Act as the single point of accountability from nomination approval through closure consistent with Program execution norms

2 Technical Delivery Expertise

Bring hands on experience executing large scale Cloud Migrations Integrations and Transformations

Demonstrate strong experience with Data Center to Cloud migrations including infrastructure and application landscapes

Apply deep understanding of cloud technologies and supporting infrastructure domains such as virtualization compute storage and networking

Leverage technical knowledge to challenge delivery plans validate scope and ensure realistic timelines and execution quality

3 Program Portfolio Management

Drive multiple concurrent programs by setting clear timelines managing dependencies and holding teams accountable for outcomes

Ensure delivery commitments are met on time and within approved scope and budget while managing changing priorities

Monitor and act on delivery KPIs including utilization throughput SLA adherence and customer satisfaction

Maintain strong control over execution cadence through regional scrums account reviews and executive updates

4 Customer Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary delivery escalation point for all assigned accounts

Build and sustain trusted relationships with stakeholders

Ensure clear expectation setting with customers on scope timelines roles responsibilities and Program ways of working

Lead executive level customer conversations during critical milestones delivery risks or escalations

Represent Program delivery with credibility clarity and accountability in customer and internal forums

5 Escalation Issue Management

Proactively identify delivery risks quality gaps and dependency issues across ongoing engagements

Drive structured escalation management including root cause analysis corrective action plans and follow through

Ensure transparency through live issue tracking ownership clarity and timely stakeholder communication

Prevent repeat escalations by strengthening delivery rigor governance adherence and stakeholder alignment

6 Operational Business Management

Partner with Regional and Global Program leadership to execute delivery strategy and continuous improvement initiatives

Ensure compliance with internal processes reporting cadence audit and governance requirements

Contribute to operational excellence by standardizing delivery practices and improving cycle time predictability and trust scores

Support regional planning activities including capacity ramp up demand coverage and delivery readiness

7 People Capability Leadership

Coach and guide Program Managers Delivery Leads and Technical Architects on delivery excellence and customer engagement

Identify skill and capacity gaps and work with staffing teams to enable timely ramp up of required capabilities

Reinforce ownership mindset professional behaviors and customer first execution culture across the delivery team

Act as a role model for Program values disciplined execution and stakeholder management
